Night Massacre? Look at the ratings for January 4th

RAW: 3.6 (5,600,000 viewers)

TNA : 1.5 (2,200,000 viewers)

With it's MUCH smaller fanbase, I really think TNA should wait a few more years bfore pulling a stunt like this. Oh, and fire Vince Russo of course...

All opinions welcomed

If TNA can maintain their average viewer rating it's a win for them, it shows that they can hang in their on Monday nights.

Plus they give the wrestling fans an option and I thin that both shows ratings will vary from week to week.

Yeah it's almost everything like WCW vs WWE on Monday Nights. You have the same people, the ring is set up the same, and more than likely you will have the same result. They have basically changed TNA into WCW and it's ashame. TNA even has a headline that I saw on the bottom left hand side of my TV screen on Spike TV earlier which said TNA is taking over Monday Nights if TNA continues the way they are this whole Monday Night War will definitely turn into a Monday Night Massacre.

tna is too new to compete with raw!! tna ,might be more better than raw but raw always has more viewers on reson cuz it's considered the wing of the wwe!

when u watch tna .... there are really few pple actuallyy buyin the tickets where as wwe raw is always filled with pple!

yeah no doubt the monday night wars takin place between tna and wwe every monday is proving to be a irritating factor for vince!so no doubt in a few weeks we should start calling it monday night massacre!!

Total Nonstop Action could barely compete with Superstars,Smack Down and Extreme Championship Wrestling.Even N.X.T seems to be doing better. There's no way they can compete with RAW yet.

WAR

AJ Styles

Kurt Angle

RVD

Matt Morgan

The Pope

Mr Anderson

Samoa Joe (wtf happened to him?)

Abyss

Jeff Jarrett etc.

+ solid tag teams

+ Old school WCW! (come on, way better than hornswaggle, NWO 4 Life)

+ a ton of other good young wrestlers

+ knockouts are better than divas

They just need to get their storylines on the younger guys and only show Bischoff once per show, at most. And stop the Hogan/Abyss romance, dudes supposed to be a Monster

Right this ain't a war.Raw is winning by a landslide.

There are some awesome feuds being built up on Raw while on TNA the senior citizens are organizing get together to 'duke' it out while the real talent like daniels and joe watch from the sidelines eating popcorn.Talk about waste of time n talent

TNA seriously chose a bad time to switch to Mondays. With WrestleMania 20 days away, things are going to be going upward for RAW which will result in no solid gain in ratings for TNA, and more then likely will bring them slight losses in their ratings.

I think it will be Monday Night Massacre for TNA, because I of I'm sure many fans watch TNA and WWE but when it comes down to it, I am a WWE fan over a TNA fan. I believe that those who are true and loyal WWE fans will understand exactly where I'm coming from. I mean after all, WWE has been around longer than TNA has.

Monday Night Wars 2.0. Although, I think WWE will do better. Wrestlemania is 20 days away, I think many fans will tune in to see what happens before then!

What do you mean if.

They ARE going to compete with RAW every week.

When WCW went Mondays they had a much smaller fan base, and where doing it from a sound stage just like TNA. Hell the 1st Nitro was done from the middle of the Mall of America.

TNA Wont get a 1.5 or higher tonight. Jan 4th they started at a 1.7 (only wrestling on at 8 is ROH on HDNet) it then dropped to 1.3 from 9-10 and dropped again to a 1.2 from 10-11.

If they do the same crap last week as this week with boring segments and long gaps between matches I wouldn't be surprised if TNA gets a .9 for the 1st time since before they got their prime time 9-10 Time slot.

its going to be a hell of a war... remember one thing, that is that old fashioned saying: the bigger they are, the harder they fall!!!!!!!!!

remember david vs. goliath? who won that one??? there ya go

david: the little guy (TNA) goliath: the giant (WWE)

dont count TNA out before the war has started. to do so would be stupid. remember this little company called WCW? the kicked the $hit out of WWE and started small like TNA. only reason they arent around is b/c of an unfortunate corporate merger (aol/timewarner)
