I consider Summerslam the spring break of wrestling, but now NOT!

like ppl will say...DIESEL V MAbel at summerslam 95...the main event is bore to death...v v v sleepy match lo...big D won with a top rope elbow beating the big man mabel...besides this is the main event match of the night..yet not the best on in a decade...midcarder match like HBK/Razor Ramon pt2 IC title ladder match and Taker/kame casket match surpass this boring main vent, Razor/HBK match should hv stole the show and also the spot in the main event instead..so my choice is summerslam 1995 ME match..boring..

I have watched every Summerslam on tv since 1988,I was at Wembley in '92 (Bret vs Bulldog was awesome) and I have to say Summerslam '93.It was bloody awful.Bear in mind this was back at a time when a pay-per-view was a major event, and not a once (ocasionally twice) a month re-match fest that it is now!

the following are the reasons why it was so bad

The main event- WWF* champion Yokozuna vs Lex Luger with a one title shot only win or bust stipulation. It was never going to be a technical masterpiece but it verged on torture.

The main event ending- Luger won by countout meaning he won the match but not the title and would not get a rematch. How was this hollow victory handled? By having a red, white and blue confetti shower and having Luger celebrate as if he had won the title!

the undercard- one of the poorest of all time

Undertaker vs Giant Gonzalez !!!

Marty Jannetty vs Ludwig Borga

Tatanka Smoking Gunns vs Bigelow Headshrinkers

All these were terrible.

Even reliable performers had an off night- After an excellent build up Bret Hart vs Jerry Lawler was a let down, the match was pretty grim. The reverse decision dq ending at least kept the fued going.

Shawn Michaels vs Mr Perfect should have been brilliant but due to Perfect's physical condition wasn't even close.

123 Kid vs IRS was so forgettable I already have again.

Razor Ramon vs Ted Dibiase is notable only for the fact it was Dibiase's final wwf* match ever.It might have been more memorable had they acknowledeged that he was leaving (or attached the old loser leaves stipulation)

Steiners vs Heavenly Bodies had potential but by then the Steiners wanted out of wwf* and it showed.

There have been some poor Summerslam's over the years but this one has to be the worst.
