I don't know, HBK's retirement storyline JUST started, and we're a month before Wrestlemania. Ric Flair had his Retirement storyline building up for months, and that's what made it mad hype. I would be disappointed that one of the greatest performers EVER had to retire, but he is getting old and he does have a family.

If hbk retired at WM26 I would not be surprised. He is very old and wrestling has gone down the drain over the past years. Ever since The Rock has gone wrestling has been terrible.

It had good build up that started months ago when HBK couldn't get the rematch when he first requested it. And with this obsession DX lost the tag team titles and split up, HBK struggled in the Rumble, and in the Elimination chamber he force the rematch to happen. I say it shall live up to the hype once again and produce the match of the night.

I'd be sad, but I know that he wanted to retire if he did do so.

They tried to make him retire last year in a storyline with JBL. Remember the money incident and what not. I am not completely sure if Shawn wants to retire considering this is yet another retirement angle towards Shawn Michaels and I don't think the storyline is going to well or even being put together well for Shawn Michaels to retire. It better be a hell of a match if you ask me and personally I am keeping my theory of Undertaker being 17-1-0 and Shawn Michaels will not retire for a while and Undertaker's streak will remain. I am hoping that Shawn Michaels go out a better way than to be stuck in this storyline which I just find weird. An icon having a random 8 month later sick obsession that he lost to Undertaker and he wants his rematch because he knows he can beat him. The temper tantrums, the screw overs, the fake upset Shawn is just really weird. I am not really cool on how he decides to do this several months later and then call out Undertaker. If WWE really wanted it to be pulled off they would have done it directly after Wrestlemania and not 8 or 9 months later.
