Ric Flair's To Be The Man is just an insult to the existence of reality. The rambles on about how he had such great matches and every veteran said he was the greatest ever in the history of the universe then spends twice as long saying why the people backstage hated him for an unrelated reason that wasn't his fault and how they knew nothing about wrestling. It's much less of an autobiography than a really long complaint of how badly the world has treated him, specifically every boss he's ever had except Vince McMahon (on an unrelated note, it was published ny WWE books), which is obviously ridiculous because he doesn't need to justify the faults in his career because it was so successful and respected that he didn't need to blame other people for why it wasn't that little bit better. It's just this warped fictional world where you get the unnerving feeling he actually lives.

Dungeon Of Death by Scott Keith.

Subtitled Chris Benoit and the Hart Family Curse. The True Story Behind Wrestling's Deadly Secret the blurb on the back of the book proclaims.

Purports to be the book that explains the REAL story behind Benoit's death.

It was no such thing. Most of the book is fairly short articles about various wrestlers who have died this decade, apparently reprinted from the author's blog. Benoit does not get any longer or any more in-depth an article than any other wrestler in the book. This book is just the author of those blogs ranting about various things in the wrestling business and does nothing to justify that title or the blurb on the back of the book. It is a poorly-researched and poorly-written series of articles on various wrestlers.

It is a waste of money.
