The Hitman is hard to appreciate if you didnt grow up watching him. He really could be the best there is the best there was and the best there ever will be. This is from a wrestling standpoint not a entertainment standpoint. Brett could tell a story in the ring. No beer chugging no 50 chatch pharses. In all most all wrestlers DVDs if they wrestled the hitman he is one of the matchs they show. Most will also say that it was great to work with him and it was easy to have great matches. SO yes I still like The Hitman.

How can you not. The king of the sharpshooter. The leader of the Heart Foundation. If you don't like the Hitman, you probably aren't a real wrestling fan. Plus, his brotehr was killed in teh ring.

No true WWE fan will say that he could keep himself from liking Bret the Hitman hart. He can tru;y be assessed as the one who laid the foundation of evolution of wrestling from a brawny sport to a brainy sport. The moves that he possessed, the way he intimidated his opponents by crippling their moves and their strenghts are unparalled. Had he not lost that fateful match, he would have kept his reign for a long time. There wasn't a single WWE great who had not lost at his hands. he was the one who had broken undertaker's undefeated streak for the first time. And, the best thing is that he loved and cared for his friends above everything else.

The Fisch answered this perfectly but I need points and I feel strongly about Bret also. Bret was his father's star pupil, the one he taught longer and harder than anyone. Stu Hart has trained ALOT of people, such as Chris Jericho, Lance Storm, Chris Benoit and others. None more than Bret so Bret was a throwback wrestler working in the age of attitude. Unfortunately he refused to crotch chop or suck it so he got left behind. Im glad he and Vince could settle things enough to get him in the Hall Of Fame, and much respect to Bret for keeping HIS promise to come back to be inducted. Now lets leave the man alone to live his life in peace....I think he's EARNED that much.

No doubt he's one of the best wrestlers there have been but I know someone who worked with wrestlers and says that Brett was kind of a jackass. Plus did you ever see him whine and cry on a talk show awhile back about how he was still mad at WWE and wasn't being utilized by WCW? That's all he ever did. cry! He'd still be involved in wrestling if it weren't for his big crocodile tears.
