Default Was Undertaker losing a mistake?

Look how genuinely shocked Brock looked when he got the three count. And why did it take so long to play his theme music? Did Taker not hear the first count?

It definitely ended the way it was written. The 21-1 graphic was made ahead of time, if Taker was supposed to win the TitanTron would have flashed 22-0. The Undertaker was ready for his streak to end, I'm just disappointing that it was a part timer that was chosen to end it.

Orton was shocked when Bryan won the championship, but he knew Bryan would win before hand. WWE superstars are not just actors but athletes. There reactions were an act put on for the show. The music hit late for suspense. It was to capture the crowds reaction, obviously the streak ending would send shock waves through the arena and WWE wanted to capture that.

It was getting to the stage where The Undertaker wanted to retire. He was only wrestling part time to keep the streak alive. Brock Lesnar was the perfect choice to end the streak. Not just because of what he has done in the UFC and WWE in the past but because Undertaker and Lesnar are good friends away from the ring. They have a mutual respect for each other.

Taker obviously knew his time was up, so he approached the scriptwriters to come up with a storyline that would surprise those who are stupid enough to realise that wrestling is NOT real. Now that he lost and the streak has come to an end, he can retire, but still make the occasional appearance.
