Default Why would any wrestler cry about winning a fake title?

I understand Kurt Angle crying when he won the olympics (with a broken neck) but I fail to see why wrestlers who win fake titles cry.

In addition to the other answers, there may have been a backstage politics issue that the wrestler had to overcome on his way to the top.

Supposedly, stars with influence have kept other wrestlers from being champion.

Backstage politics supposedly runs rampant throughout wrestling.

It means The Professional Wrestling Promotion views you as one of The Stars who help carry the promotion. It's a sign that The Promotion thinks that people buy tickets to see you Perform.

It's no different then winning an Emmy or an Academy Award. Winning a title basically means your the best or most valuable at your craft.
