It's like Woodstock. People who didn't even live through the Attitude Era think the Attitude Era was God, people who didn't really watch the Ruthless Aggression Era think the Ruthless Aggression Era was God; hell people who didn't even watch the Golden Era/New Generation Era some how think that Era is God...compared to today. Talk about refusing to adjust with the times, it's like Bret 'Hitman' Hart's move-set around here; old, stale and outdated. Ironic, people complain about Batista coming back; yet 'we all loved' Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson or perhaps John Cena in 2005 or Randy Orton back then to... Funny how the tables turn; like peoples reaction to Daniel Bryan and CM Punk.

All I can tell you Dave, is that I didn't watch Hogan's era of wrestling, and I don't really talk about it, I didn't watch much wrestling at all in the early 90s, and I don't talk about it!

I watch Attitude Era, I watched Ruthless Aggression, hell, I watched whatever eras TNA went through when they was on FSN and Spike up until a few years ago!

I have no clue why people would talk about the Attitude Era or Ruthless Aggression Era, why anyone would be interested in it, it happen in the past, it is time to move on! I don't know why anyone would act like they lived through it or act like they know what it is all about just because they seen some awesome clips of it on Youtube, you take some of the best footage of the modern era and you could make it look pretty awesome as well, I'm sure of that!

If you take some of the worst clips of the Attitude Era, or the Ruthless Aggression Era, and it would look bad, but people apparently aren't watching those!

I dont too much get the cheap shot at Bret Hart here. Because quite frankly, if you are judging him off of his move set alone then you didnt see Bret perform. His placement of those moves in matches and the way he perfected each one (hence the name Excellence of Execution) was why you had to throw in the back of your mind that they were old fashioned.

wwe is more a an example of people being unable to adjust with the times and I get your point, I'm from what you called the ruthless aggression era, and Id like to say that nowadays wwe has bad story lines with tons of bad timing, back in 2005 john cena, randy orton and batista had characters tha defined them, nowadays these are just dull, they don't have anything particular about them:first of all there's john cena, back in 2005 he was the wannabe rapper dissing everybody and had planty of moves in is arsenal, nowaday hes just the dude that rallies up the crowd to say the same ol boring general stuff.Second of all there's randy orton, back in 2005 this guy was know as 3rd generation superstar that was taking out wwe legends 1 by 1 aka the legend killer randy orton, the dude actually had hair on his fu*king head, was handsome(no homo)he had charisma and he fought his own battles, and yes he cheated tons of times, but he never backed out, he never needed anybody to back him up unlike nowadays he just a bald baby complaining bout everything, finally theres batista, back in 2005 after winning the royal rumble he was still in evolution with hhh and flair, he had 2 choices:go to smackdown and face jbl at wrestlemania for the wwe title or stay in raw and face hhh for the world title, he decided to stay in raw cuz he was tired of always being controlled by hhh, during the contract signing he power bombed hhh through a table and became the animal, now he's just some bald dude that comes back from a miserable win in mma to win directly the royal rumble instead of roman reigns, see that's what I'm talking about, bad timing,it was reigns moment to shine but instead wwe shove's batista(hence taking cm punk out of the title picture, wasting perfect talent),they did the same to brock lesnar, when he came back he kicked a$$ by himself, then when he was attached to paul heyman he lost most of his credibility, he recently came back to claim the wwe title from randy orton, but wwe set him back for 3 weeks, imagine all the microphone battles we could have witnessed: Orton's arrogance vs lesnar attitude, bottom line is that during both attitude and ruthless aggression era(that I watched tons a times on the internet)we watched some great story lines with good rivalries that made sense, nowadays feuds are started for no reasons and we wind up seeing matches that have no purpose or reasons to be, same thing goes about mixing raw and smackdown together,it gave a melting pot of sh*t,THATS what people refuse to accept and adjust to.
