I'm watching the rise and fall of WCW dvd on Youtube and i just saw a group picture of NWA promoters and Vince Mcmahon Sr. was one of them.

Yes, Vince McMahon Sr. was a promoter for NWA, before starting his own wrestling company, but to correct DeadmanRising, Vince McMahon hated his abusive stepfather, who beat him and his mother viciously. Vince McMahon had a great relationship his real father, Vince McMahon Sr.

there is pictures of the board of directors of all of the promoters of the regions that made the NWA. Mr. McMahon Sr. was the North East territory. Other important names are Sam Muchnick of St. Louis, Eddy Graham of Florida, Paul Boesh of Houston, Fritz Von Erich of Dallas, Stu Hart and Jack Tunny of Canada....

of course you know the story of WWWF breaking away in the 60's and in the 80's Vince Jr. went and brought out the "important" cities so in a way you can say Vince Jr. kept the tradition alive.......weird huh the NWA is now WWE if you think about it. Those dumb lawyers who own the name "NWA" in 2014 are frauds and will never be as popular or as good as it was in the last peak which was of the 80's......Colt and Pierce was the last hope but they done messed that up.
