Isn't CM Punk over because he curses a lot and give some hints of the attitude era. CM Punk is only successful because he is "cool" and "edgy". If you have a whole roster of better wrestlers doing the same thing CM Punk does how would he be successful? He is not as good as the talent in the attitude era and everyone else would be edgy meaning that Punk would be nothing special.

CM Punk would pale in comparison against Y2J, Stone Cold, and The Rock on the mic. CM Punk is not good in the ring. He has to be carried through all his matches

he can do a promo with out the need for writers......people say CM Punk is skinny well look at Shawn Michaels. Its not like HBK is 230 pounds of HGH and PEDs. Do you know who was nobody special: Billy Gunn, Test, Justin Credible.

He's Brilliant on the Mic, Brilliant in the Ring, Brilliant on Commentary and can work with just about anybody. If you think CM Punk is "Nothing Special", you clearly didn't watch The Attitude Era.

The Legendary witness: Okay You've repeated yourself on this over and over and over again, Can you give Proof! Then again, you said Current Brock Lesnar Matches where Top Notch Performances.

in attitude era, everything was more mature,

guys were drinking beer backstage for example... not only backstage (Steve Austin)

CM Punk's straight edge character would have been very unique at that period of time and i believe he would be getting massive heat as heel...... if the Straight Edge Society stable happened in 1998, it would be big deal. he'd be the most hated heel. wrestling fans during the attitude era were all alcoholics, smokers, wifebeaters and rapists.. and Vince hated that, that's one of the reasons he's using Cena to chase away fans like that.

in this PG era, the straight edge character is not so much out of ordinary. you dont see Orton drink, you dont see Cena drink, they would allow Bryan drink goat milk perhaps.... also Punk would be much much more free on the mic.

CM Punk in Attitude Era = epic

I'm not so sure he would of, a lot of wishful thinking but people just don't know if he would of been a success or not in that era!

Punk curses and is a bit edgy, but he is also straight edge, alot of the the stuff in the attitude era he wouldn't of approved of, like violence on women (yeah, guys use to attack women), drinking, drugs, it is a lot different, it is easy to say a guy would get over no matter what but to actually be able to pull it off, especially when a lot of the stuff going on is against his beliefs, I'm not so sure!
