Default Am I too old to try and pursue wrestling?

Please take me seriously with everything I am about to discuss.

In October I will become 23 years old. I've loved becoming a WWE superstar since I started watching it at 7 years old. I don't watch it as religiously as I use to when I was younger and I am aware that it is stage-acting, but I still casually keep up with it.

Right now I am honours student in university studying Political Science. I really like what I study, but I know that going into law professionally is not some place I'd be happy. I'm sure there are many other options out there where I'd be happy, but I know that wanting to make it to the WWE is something I'd try everything away for. None of my friends or family really know that I'm a WWE fan and deep down I tell myself whether it's worth it to sign up for wrestling school as an extra-curicular and do it on the weekends and practice more over breaks and when I graduate. If I do so, I hope to temporarily move to Florida to try out for NXT wrestling and take it from there.

If I didn't stray from my ambitions to do so when I started high school, I most likely would've made every decision in my life get me closer to wrestling, rather than academia; I could have already had a few years experience and tried out for NXT. However, now I'm approaching an age where most people have already made it to or close to the WWE, and I am no where near the first step. I'm not necessarily a big guy either - 5'10 and a 1/2, 150 pounds, lean - but I know with disciplined exercising I can gain the size and strength I need.

I'm asking you all to give me perspective. Is where I am in life right now a place to start? Tell me why or why I should not pursue my first love.

Please don't mind the typos, it's really late and I'm tired... these thoughts have kind of been keeping me up.

No, 23 is not old, many wrestlers break in when they are 25~30. As for weak, I am crippled and I just use my cane or steel chair to compensate. Daniel Bryan and Ray Mysterio are small also, plus a lot of wrestlers wear lifts in their shoes/wrestling boots to look larger than life. Study something else, it's real hard to break in. One feeds the pocketbook, the other feeds the soul! Maybe something wrestling related like sports law. (They have that.) A manager once studied business as his major and that added to his business/financial acumen.

You are just 23 years old. You can certainly try to become a WWE superstar.

of course you can! but you have to train extra hard. wwe accepts wrestlers that have 3 plus years of wrestling experience. what you should do now is gain mass, workout, and go to a wrestling school
