Default What hold did Daniel Bryan use to beat John Cena?

I know Randy Orton beat him a few minutes later, ending his short title reign, but I've been trying to find out how Bryan beat John Cena. Yes Lock? Goat Butt? What? Was it a clean pinfall or submission, or did Triple H help because he hates Cena? I did not get to see the pay per view.

Knee to Cena's face, which makes no sense because Cena has kicked out of worse.

It was the running since high knee that he used to defeat Cena.

He used Kenta Kobayashi's "Busaiku Knee Kick". It's basically a running high knee to the face, it's higher than a "Shining Wizard" as the opponent is standing on both feet. Ironically, Kenta recently won his first World Title by using Bryan's "Yes Lock". The two of them have known each other for years, so it was probably out of respect.

As for the pin itself, it was as clean as a whistle. Triple H called it down the middle, and there was no outside interference whatsoever. No foot on the rope and no botched counting. It was CLEAN! Even at MITB, Cena was distracted by Vince and Johnny Ace, and CM Punk took advantage of that. Nothing like that happened here.

Of course, Cena only sold the finishing move for about 20 seconds, and then he was healthy again. But he did shake Bryan's hand before he left the ring to give Bryan his moment.

By the way, Triple H stayed in the ring the ENTIRE TIME, even after Cena left. He was clapping for Daniel, patting him on the back, giving him the "thumbs up" sign, all of that stuff. Then confetti was pouring from the ceiling. And I think there might have been some pyro, too. It was the ultimate "go home happy" moment.

But when Orton's music hit, that was when Triple H hit Bryan with the Pedigree, and then Orton pinned Bryan after cashing in the briefcase, then HHH raised Orton's hand in victory.
