Is it just me or I don't really find Curtis Axel that special?

He's a Paul Heyman guy...so what? He's not doing anything that standing out compare to other people, I feel like he's just ANOTHER guy to get physical in behalf of Heyman and that anyone can do it. What's the hype behind all this guy? Most Paul Heyman guys are either super talented or something DIFFERENT and stands out compare to the rosters but Curtis Axel...I just don't see it. I'll give him props he improved a lot

Just cause he beat Triple H ages ago, he still reeks of failure. He uses cheap moves and runs away when he gets the chance. He may be a Paul Heyman giuy, but I just don't see the power or talent in the little guy.

He is boring. And even with Heyman as the main mouth piece it does nothing for him.

I thought that because Curtis Axel was finally getting a push (having "beaten" Triple H 3 times), he might be important once more, especially with Paul Heyman as manager. However, as soon as he won the Intercontinental Championship Triple H wasn't interested in him. Maybe if the two had actually had a match with a proper finish, the feud could have been memorable. However, as soon as Paul Heyman started his feud with CM Punk, Axel was used as nothing but a pawn for Heyman and Brock Lesnar. He was on the receiving end of most of Punk's attacks, and not having a challenger to his title has made him seem even less important.

Maybe Axel will improve more in time (especially since he's using the Perfect-Plex), but for now, he's only a wall standing between Paul Heyman and CM Punk, and right now Punk is a bulldozer.

No, it isn't just you, and let's face it, if he wasn't a Paul Heyman guy, he wouldn't be where he is right now!

I wouldn't go as far to say he is bad, but he comes off average, nothing does set him apart from the generic wrestlers WWE tried to debut on ECW a few years ago and we know how well that worked out! Really, he only has two things going for him and that is he had a famous father in wrestling and Paul Heyman is his manager, maybe they can find a way to mold him into something special but I'm not seeing it and if he ever loses Paul Heyman as a manager, which one day that will happen, I got a feeling he will just vanish from the WWE scene!

It's not you, he is pretty boring. But, he definitely has special potential. He just needs to find a good gimmick, and he'll definitely be entertaining. That is why he seems so generic.

I agree with you, but when the first time Paul Heyman introduced him then he said "I have arrived" then *crazy laugh* i thought this guy would be more interesting and funny but with the time his gimmick turned be quiet and boring the opposite of my first impression about him. so that's why i would give him another chance if he improved his act and his skills.
