He didn't think they would handle him properly.

When booker t first came to wwe the rock said "who are you". Sting doesn't want that treatment

Did you see how they treeated the former WCW superstars like goldberg and others Why do you think they all left either getting fired or because they were treated like shit that could be 1 reason the other is being loyal to wcw since wwe bought them out and it was the main competition back in the 90s. Tna is kind of like WCW too

Sting has negotiated withwwe multiple times. One reason was that Wwe was too racy for his religious beliefs, this was back when Wwe did bra and panties matches and such things. Obviously stings and wwes feelings have changed on that.

But through the other more recent negotiations it has been about part time scheduling. Sting wants part time. Wwe up until recently refuses to do part time. They are more open to it now. They offered sting more money than spike TV. Spike pays sting, not TNA, he makes 500,000 per year.

Stings contract is almost up and a jump to Wwe looks probable now that Wwe is willing to do part time. Sting wants to do a WM, he wants taker. Taker also likes this and Wwe wants it more than anybody. They want that match, they want to have had sting, they want the merchandise sales and the history and they want to justify putting sting in the wwe HOF. There's a ton of money to be made.

Plus it hurts TNA and shows Wwe is top and can get anybody. I wonder if some of the hesitation on stings part goes back to WWF choosing the warrior over sting.

Even if sting retires, retired wrestlers still appear in single matches or come out of retirement to do short stints. So to think sting will never wrestle in Wwe is absurd. He will land in a Wwe ring at some point. It doesn't even matter what sting has left. What matters is the history of sting stepping in a Wwe ring and spring vs taker at WM.

I have a feeling depending where his Wwe debut is held(should be either California, billed home state or Nebraska, born home state) we may see the biggest crowd pop ever. Its gonna be big and its going to happen.

That teaser video that turned out to be taker a couple years ago was designed to work for either. They were in negotiations with sting at the time. Since they didn't land him, they easily changed it to taker.
