Default What will happen with the wwe when ALL the legends leave?

Lots of legends/popular wrestlers have left within the last 5 years or so. Jeff Hardy,Edge shawn michaels. HHH(matches only in PPV dont count as active), The undertaker(wrestlemania only matches dont count as being active)

So the question is, what would happen with the wwe when the rest of them eventually retire? John Cena and randy orton have been in the wwe over a decade now. It's gonna be sooner than you think when they quit. Will wwe struggle finding a new generation of superstars that are extremely popular and become legends?

The answer to your question is simple. Look at wrestlers like Sheamus, Justin Gabriel, Tensai, Dolph Ziggler. Kofi Kingston, R-Truth, Big E Langston, Alberto Del Rio, Jack Swagger, Ryback, The Shield, Daniel Bryan and a lot more superstars will become legends. How do you think Jeff Hardy, HBK or John Cena became legends? They all started at the bottom?

well if cena and orton quit, it will be a great loss but wwe will still have some new ones like sheamus, adr, fandango, brodus clay, ryback, daniel bryan and damien sandow

i dont think cena and orton will quit any time near, because mark henry, kane and jericho have been there longer than them and they are still on the show

Life goes on in pro-wrestling,especially in the WWE. The same thing happened back when guys on the top and middle started fading out and leaving WWE or staying in WWE and fading as main event talent (and popular mid card talent too) whether they had any championships in WWE or not. Talent like Bruno Sammartino,Superstar Billy Graham,Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage,Andre the giant,Junkyard Dog,Jake Roberts, Ultimate Warrior,Million Dollar Man,Diesel,Mabel,Ricky Steamboat,Vader,Stone Cold,Rock, Bret Hart, etc. They'll always find somebody to replace who the fans like or like to hate and want to see.Everybody comes and goes. The same goes for the ring announcers, commentators (LOVE listening to Vince Mcmahon and Jesse The Body Ventura on Saturday Night's Main Event,it never gets old,"McMahon!"),onstage authority figures, managers, etc. Even talent that stay in WWE and stay on stage over time change or alter their personas over time King from 1993 to about 1996 was really cartoonish and always for heels, then he was all "puppies!" during attitude era,for example.

new people need to be pushed, duh. only pushing Cena will just get Hogan backlash....i.e. gimmick got stale 2 years after debut. one trick pony gimmicks don't work anymore.

By the time The Undertaker, The Rock, Triple H and The Big Show have all left, WWE will have new legends. By the time Randy Orton, John Cena, Rey Mysterio, Chris Jericho and CM Punk all leave, you will have Sheamus, Tyson Kidd, Wade Barrett, Dolph Ziggler. WWE will never run out of legends.

It will be another passing of the torch. That same question arose around the start of the Attitude era and the Ruthless Aggression era. Hogan, Savage, Road Warriors, Ultimate warrior, Bret Hart were all gone and HHH, Rock, Stone Cold, Undertaker, mankind, and HBK picked up the torch and ran. When that group started to fade out John Cena, Rey Mysterio, Randy Orton, and CM Punk were pushed to lead the company. When they fade out they will pass the torch on to the next generation of wrestlers like Dolph Ziggler, the SHIELD, Sheamus, Daniel Bryan, as well as other wrestlers we have yet to see.

Professional Wrestling is a job just like any other. Professional Wrestlers work for a Promotions and eventually, retire, request their release or get released. The WWWF/WWF/WWE has been existence for 5 Decades and thousands of people have worked for The WWWF/WWF/WWE. If you don't believe me, go buy a copy of The WWE Encyclopedia from Barnes and Noble or Amazon.
