Come on... . no one who was taking a break would hug their manager dat way or take one last look at the arena the way he did.

No He is not going to retire, WWE Creative/Vince Mac will be screwed if The One of Poster boy Left WWE. He is taking a time off, all those hugging and Stuff is just to portrait that he is sad, all these "emotional" down and out face to make him look "Great", he will get "HUGE POP'S/OVATION" when he returns!

The reason for a somewhat emotional departure is because of the fact that to him it is emotional. He may just be taking a break to let injuries calm in order to prevent him from being the next Stone Cold(hot for 4 years then completely done because he refused medical advice to take time off), however, he loves what he does so much that he can't stand taking time off. That's why they didn't vacate the title when he was injured; because he refused to take a break, so he got his surgery and continued to be on-screen(not in-ring) for the next month. He isn't the type to let an injury keep him from doing what he loves, but like I said, he doesn't want to fall off the wrestling map only to finally show up in WWE movies 10 years later.

Nope, he's taking time off. It was all storyline and to make people believe he did, but since WWE is so damn predictable now-a-days, it's not believeable.
