Default THQ R.I.P. A New Age Begins? (2 Questions At The Bottom)?

(I Already Put This Question In The Video & Online Gaming Section But I Shall Put It In This Sedtion As Well, I Have Points To Spend!)

As most of us all know that THQ, the iconic and respected US Video Game Company filed for bankruptcy in December of 2012. We have seen this stronghold make the first WWF/E game, WWF Smackdown! For Playstation 1. Then we saw WWF Smackdown! 2:Know Your Role. Then for the first time WWF Smackdown! Just Bring It! For Playstation 2, and thus came about WWE: Shut Your Mouth and WWE: Here Comes the Pain.

These games still loft around car-boot sales, charity shops and of course amazon and eBay. The price in all Playstation 1, 2 and Portable games have depreciated over the years because of their age and newer versions being released into updated consoles.

But the Fun with THQ didn't finish with the Smackdown! Series as Smackdown vs Raw debuted. Then SvR 06, 07, 08, 09, 10 and finally 11 were produced. The WWF/E Smackdown series had already brought much joy to people of all ages when they were released and people still enjoy them now. The SvR series was another masterpiece by THQ.

Then in 2011 they released the first of a new series WWE 12. Altough significant things like the graphics had been altered the overall package of WWE 12 was a disappointment with a new peculiar grappeling system. THQ had fallen in his reputation and in sales of the new gaming series. But along game WWE 13 a year later and gave THQ new hope as sales in the game rose significantly to such an extent they had to restock their warehouses.

With implimation of the WWF Attitude Era mode and classic superstars the video gamers and WWF/E fans could not resist such a mavel of brilliance and sharpness of the new game. Playing with such classic stars as Rikishi, DX, Scotty 2 Hotty and many more.

But alas the new series couldn't rack in the money required to keep THQ afloat. So in Janurary of this year 2K Sports purchased the licensing and rights to the WWE series and WWE 14 which is set for release in October of 2013.

So with all the history of THQ being with WWE productions with 2K be up to scratch to remake WWE 14 in a better light then the THQ series?

But hasn't the prestige and uniqueness of the WWE gaming series being extinguished with the loss of THQ?

2K will do a great job. All their technology may not go into WWE '14 because WE '14 started production last year before WWE '13 was released. So, if this year's game feels like crap, don't blame 2K, but wait until WWE '15 for the best results.
