Why do the wrestlers and referees go crazy everytime a fan jumps over the barricade?

Fans usually try to attack the wrestlers. Though it has been shown that a professional wrestler would destroy a normal fan (given this by many different instances). Take a wrestler like, say, Brock Lesnar or Triple H, losing their cool and tackling the fan while pounding away at his face causing blood and teeth to fly across the ring, it not only halts the show and gives the company a bad name (well, it can), it can ruin that wrestler's momentum and in some cases ruin their careers.

Some fans might try to sue afterwards, which is another reason to avoid these things. Some might even carry weapons and try to injure wrestlers (though I have yet to here of such an incident, yet...).

please tell me you're Joking.

Wrestling is essentially Theater in the Round... if you went to an actual Play do you think you'd be allowed on stage while the actors are performing the play?

That Barricade is the line between the performers and the audience... and when the play gioes into the crowd they have security personnel at the ready to keep fans away from wrestlers and with any luck stray swings away from fans

If you cross that Line there is No protection from or for you

They are jumping with excitement because a fan jumping the barracade is the best thing on the show.
