Default Will WWE ever recognize Drew McIntyre's unlimited potential?

It pains me to think that WWE is wasting such a talent in McIntyre. He could be their future golden boy, but they are just wasting him. 3MB is definitely hurting him but at least we get to see him every week, even if he is jobbing. IMO he is the future but hopefully Triple H will make him the future, for one because he is 27, and 2nd Trips said he is high on McIntyre. What do you think about this.

Thanks in advance.

At first, everyone was high on McIntyre and it was just a matter of time before he was going to be a top star but there was a problem. Despite WWE pushing him very strongly in the intercontinental division, and whether he had a good in ring talent or not, nobody cared about him. The people in the audience have little to no care for Drew McIntyre.

And you can argue with me and say that, the "WWEUniverse" does not know what makes a great star and what does not. Well truthfully, nobody knows what makes a wrestler a 'great star'. It just happens randomly and it can happen to anybody. Stonecold Steve Austin was destined to be a top star, but who knew he was going to be greatest WWE Star of the attitude era.

Sometimes, in the WWE you just have to sail with whoever they push. Like Ryback, everyone in the IWC does not like ryback very much and because of that we may see another failure. We can't be picky on these, we just have to ride with it and see where it will go in the future. What if Ryback had the potential to be bigger than Goldberg? What if CM Punk had the potential to be bigger than Steve Austin but we keep burying them ourselves because they are not the one we want to get pushed?

As for Drew McIntyre. I can say the same thing. People called him overrated at first because Triple H and Vince loves him very much. So people decided to show how they felt about it by showing no response to Drew McIntyre whenever he shows up on TV (during his chosen one gimmick). And as a result, WWE does not know what to do with him and he ends up being a jobber. And once he is finally a jobber, we finally take notice of Drew McIntyres potential as a top star. So technically, we killed his potential to be what he could've been in the WWE.

It's not the WWE that needs to recognize it. It's the WWE Universe. The fans are the ones who decide who's "good", and who's not. If McIntrye is ever going to be a star in WWE, he needs to get over with the fans first and foremost. He's had opportunities. WWE gave him a serious push and it still didn't matter. The fans didn't respond to him. Bottom line. That's what it all comes down to. If you can't get over with the fans, it doesn't matter how much "unlimited potential" one has. If the fans don't see it, WWE won't waste their time.

And like you said McIntrye is only 27, which is pretty young for WWE standards. He still has many years ahead of him. Look at Dolph Ziggler. It took him like 8+ years to finally break through.
