...merchandise? On the 3/28/13 TNA Impact Mr. Anderson said that Jeff Hardy gets free passes and second, third, fifth, and 75th chances because he keeps selling merchandise.

It's because he's done more noteworthy things than Mr. Anderson. Anderson needed Aces and Eights to be relevant again.

Never thought of it that way, but sounds accurate, as the only reason he got his title shot at Bound For Glory was to keep Hardy from leaving TNA and losing them money. Although he's been gone from WWE too long, and definitely wouldn't benefit from returning, so TNA seems like a nice home for him right now
