Default Swimming in wrestling/jiu jitsu?

Last night in my submission grappling class, we learned how to "swim" its where apparently you each have one underhook and you just switch the underhook while ramming them with your chest. But what do you do if the guy doesn't swim back? What if I'm wrapped up with a guy and I go swim but he doesn't and I end up with double underhooks? Sorry if this is a dumb question, I just started.

you take him down with leg trips, or shoot for a double and pull guard

or if you're just wrestling, 'Ko Uchi Gari'(hip throw), any other kind of hip throw will work.

they will alllmmost always swimm back they kind of have no choice, they'd be stupid not to but always take advantage if they don't.

Hit him straight away with an F5. When he is down run out and get a chair and some thumb tacks.

Yes, change positions as soon as possible because I saw a couple of wrestlers in that exact position. If you don't, it'll just look stupid. That looked pitiful.
