Default Montreal Screwjob a big fat WORK?

- Bert had full creative control in the last month on WWE.

Vince should have let Bret drop the belt before that month.. But what does Vince do?? Waits till that last month so that Bret can say NO to him..

Makes no sense to me whatsoever..

I've been saying that for years.

I can't believe some people actually think it was a legit incident.

1- Why would Bret destroy video equipment in front of the whole world watching? If it were a legit screwjob, I would think Bret would have been so angry that he would have stormed to the backstage.

2- Those close to Vince say that the Vince McMahon they know would NEVER let anyone punch him in the face and get away with it. Vince gets punched in the face and he wobbles away? BS

3- Oh look! Movies cameras just happened to be there to capture it all on video!!

4- Both Bret and Vince gained a lot form the incident.

I do think Shawn Michaels was the only one not aware of what was going to happen and what was going on simply because Shawn is a self centered idiot.

If Shawn would have known what Vince and Bret had planned, Shawn would have acted like an idiot by over selling and act like a buffoon because the controversy spotlight is on Bret and not on him.

Who's Bert? Nobody has full creative control over their character in the WWF/WWE. They sure wouldn't give it to somebody who's leaving. Whether or not they should have taken the title off Bret Hart before that night is another discussion. The fact is that The Hitman was booked to win that night and Vince and Earl Hebner pulled a fast one.

The fact is that Bret "The Hitman" Hart was booked to win that night but Vince McMahon and Earl Hebner changed the plan so that is why Shawn Michaels won that night.

I had always thought it was a work and a brilliant one. But no one can ever prove it or know what happened for sure except the few people involved.
