Default What's everybody opinion about Samoa Joe for this year (2012)?

Starting in 2009, things went downhill for the once undefeated Samoan Submission Machine after dropping the TNA World Heavyweight Title to Sting in which after being sidelined via injury, he came back with a strange gimmick of being part of the "Nation of Violence", sporting a haircut, a *****-looking face paint and wielding a machete. Things got worse for him after Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff took control of the company and severely demoted him which continued for the following year where he kept losing in the Bound for Glory Series Tournament. However, ever since this year started, Joe's resurgence began to show though becoming a Tag Team Champion, facing off against Austin Aries for the X-Division Title, had an impressive showing in the BFG Series Tournament compared to last year and won the TNA Television Championship becoming the recent TNA Grand Slam Champion.

This year was better for him than the last year when he actually had a losing streak. This year he won Championships, and is still almost as good of a performer as he used to be back in 2005-2006 and is a Grand Slam Champion. Please answer my question.
