Bret hart because he was the excellance of execution & ric flair = overrated & even bret hart stated this & he said beating ric flair was a piece of cake in his book.

Bret Hart is the greatest of all time. Hart had better skills, won every championship available in his time, held the Tag Team and Intercontinental Championships when they were at their most valuable, was King Of The Ring twice and became the first man to win the WWF Triple Crown twice. He also managed to become the fifth Triple Crown Champion in WCW.

Flair did win more World titles (16 of them) but his matches were very repetitive and he almost wrestled to a script. His hour long matches (now what WWE has labeled as classics) against Sting and Ricky Steamboat, might have been revolutionary in the 80's but looking back at them now, they are dull and boring.

Bret Hart's matches are still some of the best on any WWF/E dvd release even after retiring all most 13 years ago.

To me, this is a tossup

Ric Flair was my favorite HEEL wrestler during the 80s, but Bret was my favorite wrestler (heel or face) in the 90s

I really can't choose between the two to be honest

My favorite face wrestler in the 80s was Rick Steamboat
