Maybe he was something back in the 80s and 90s, but the mans really gotta retire. Its like pass the torch already and stop trying to steal the spotlight from guys like Samoa Joe and AJ Styles.

Your Thoughts?

Hulk Hogan is not overrated. He is not the best technical wrestler, Hogan himself will tell you that but Hogan has done more the the popularity and mainstream appeal of pro wrestling then any other. Without Hulk Hogan pro wrestling would not be as big as it is today, fact.

Wrestling is for guys who can't get dates with women. It's fake. An act. A soap opera for little boys. Hulk Hogan is an actor.

No. Turn on the TV and watch wrestling today. He was a huge part of that. He and McMahon built up pro-wrestling. Watch the early stuff. pre-1984. The money wasn't there. The production values were crap.

No he wasn't the best technical wrestler. But you have to give him credit for going mainstream and bringing those people to wrestling.

I do agree that he takes up too much TV time in TNA. They should limit that, since he is staying around.

He always has been overrated, He can't give up the spotlight, so he gets his own promotion.

He'll probably be 80 years old coming to the ring with a walker still trying to hog a piece of the spotlight and remember the glory days of the business.

I'd say that now he's actually underrated. I'm not a big fan of him though; In my opinion I think that the Rock is better.

He hasn't been relevant in the WWE for 4 years.

He was something in the 80s and 90s, but yeah, you are dead on, he isn't the draw that he was back in the day and the proof for that is that TNA Impact doesn't get any better ratings now than it did before Hulk Hogan came into the promotion!

Wow no way is Hogan overrated if it wasn't for him guys like AJ styles, and Joe wouldn't have jobs. that's like asking is Micheal Jordan overrated.

Hogan gives the entire TNA spotlight to all the young talent. He is simply Hulk Hogan and wrestling fans love him for all the memories and matches. He is an Icon and will always be remembered as so.

Hulk Hogan's not as overrated as he used to be. His hype died a while ago, and now he is just doing what he can to stay at the top. Hopefully, he doesn't try to make his daughter Brooke the next "Hulk Hogan". Right now, he's trying but it's not working out so well.

Hulk Hogan's not overrated at all. Never was a great in-ring performer but he's the man who brought wrestling into the mainstream in the 80's, took the WWF all over the world, sold out large arenas all over the world, and anchored the nWo, the group that very nearly put the WWE out of business in the mid 90's. The WWE we see today was born the night Hulk Hogan won the WWF World Title in 1984. Everything we see in the WWE today are just variations of what Hogan did (or was part of) in the 80's during "Hulkamania".

He doesn't "steal the spotlight" in TNA. He's the GM, same as Booker T and Vickie Guerrero in the WWE. He doesn't wrestle, he makes matches, same as Booker and Vickie. He generally appears less often than Booker and Vickie, as well.

I never was a Hulkamaniac (still aren't) but as TNA's GM, Hogan's doing a great job. Listen to him talk (on the show); he puts over the guys and girls in TNA, talking them up, making them sound great.
