Do you think Vince Sr. never wanted the WWE to be as big as it is today?

Vince Sr was more respectful of other territories and was fine just doing business in the Northeast. He may have never dreamed his son would raid other territories of there top talent and turn his company into a billion dollar worldwide enterprise. But I think he would be proud of his son like it or not Vince Jr did what it took to be the best and changed wrestling forever for better or worse he brought it from small gymnasiums and armory's into huge arenas and stadiums.

I think Vince Sr would be very proud of his son. Especially now that it's all upgraded, it's worldwide and it couldn't be more popular. WWE is one of the most watched shows worldwide if not the most watched.

That says alot for the WWE and Vince Jr.

Vince Sr. would have wanted the WWE to be at the top, but he didn't want the WWE to eliminate all of the competition like it did. In the Attitude Era, because there was competition, RAW and SmackDown was pulling in shows with 5 million to 8 million viewers weekly. Today's product barely pulls in 3 million.

Without the competition, the company wouldn't have a goal of being the best. Once WCW and ECW were gone, the WWE took a turn to entertainment and superstars and made professional wrestling lose it's meaning. TNA steadily tries to pose a threat, but Hogan's influence on the company is stalling progress, and then ROH lost all of it's best guys to larger companies.

If it hadn't of been Vince, it would have been Ted Turner and WCW. So, yes, Vince Sr. would be proud of his son. Vince Jr. always said his did didn't want him stealing talent from other companies or putting on shows in other territories, but you can't be disappointed in success.
