What would the WWE do if TNA could actually compete with them in ratings?

Competition brings out the best in everything...

i don't see TNA ever catching WWE but if they do, it would revitalize the whole wrestling scene.

"Bring back the attitude era"... That's come and gone. Go back to TV-14 and make the secondary titles relevant. Vince McMahon could name the era.

They would have to up their game and possibly even go back to the way things use to be, more violence, cursing, sex, etc.!

Competition brings out the best, but take a look at the toll it took on some guys from the attitude era, it ended careers early and even some wrestlers lives because they was pushing so hard! I can agree with you to a certain extent but for anyone trying to give 110% night in and night out to out do the competition, eventually it is going to lead to something bad happening!

Nobody thought WCW could ever catch up to the WWE in the mid 90's. Turns out they were wrong. WCW stomped the WWE in the ratings week after week after week for two straight years.

Vince McMahon IS worried about TNA cutting into WWE profits, stealing WWE fans, and perhaps eventually catching up in the ratings, maybe even surpassing them as WCW did. So he's doing something about it NOW.

TNA is based in Orlando Florida. That's where their TV show emanates from. They do most of their PPVs there, as well. They're touring schedule revolves around Orlando Florida. Orlando IS TNA's home base.

The WWE has, in the works, plans to establish a "base of operations" (so to speak) away from it's headquarters in Stamford Connecticut and it's home base of New York City. This "base" will house an actual WWE Hall Of Fame building, a developmental territory, a regular PPV stop (including Wrestlemania), and perhaps some sort of weekly TV show. Where is the "base" to be established, you ask? Orlando Florida.

That's right. Vince plans to invade TNA territory, squat down in TNA's front yard and force TNA to move or die. Vince doesn't want fair competition; he's probably afraid of it. He just plans to do what he's always done: drive the other companies out of business any way he can.
