They would have to but could he not just wait a few months and resign?

Indeed, according to the rules he signed under his WWE contract and by-law he would have to be terminated from his job and receive a heavy fine for his 3 third violation under the companies policy. TNA also has a no drugs ban so he would unemployed for a few months if this situation were ever to occur.

I think Orton is too important to the WWE to just release. He is a future legend, after everything he's done they must be keeping him around for some reason. He failed multiple drug tests and flipped off a fan. They must need him for something.

Yes. They were actually thinking of firing him after his second violation.

Yeah, if he was stupid enough to violate the rules again.

But he would go straight to TNA anyways. TNA do not have a no drugs policy.

There's loads of TNA talent that use drugs. EG: Jeff Hardy, Kurt Angle are just two i know of.

TNA will always be a place for WWE rejects. Evan Bourne will be the next guy to go to TNA from the long line of WWE rejects.

Randy is too much of a big star for WWE to fire him, he would be a huge loss if he was that silly to do it again.

Yes they would

It's also why they haven't made him do anything particularly important. Could you imagine him as world champion, only for him to fails another drug test? He would have to leave and not have a match losing the title. A pretty crappy way to go and the fans would hate it

No, the WWE is terrified of Orton ending up on TNA. Orton knows this and I think Orton is one destined to die young. Hate to say it but when you let someone break the rules like WWE does Orton you eventually give them enough rope to hang themselves.
