Do you feel WWE should have added a hint of racism to the Miz vs Kofi Kingston storyline?

Maybe Miz implying or outright stating that he was better than Kofi because he was white and/or that wrestlers who aren?t white only make it so far. This may have made Kofi?s victory even more satisfying not saying it wasn?t based on Miz putting Kofi down for his lack of accomplishment but adding a touch of racism could have made the payoff a bit sweeter.

It would have been a nice change I hate how they made it family friendly which basically killed ECW

It's 2012. Nobody with a brain cares about skin color or racism.

Remember Triple H vs Booker T?....yeah, Racism doesn't make for a compelling angle in the 2000's.

There are three major reasons I say stay away from racism:

1. It's a PG product that (supposedly) advocates anti-bullying. If their key demo is truly children, they don't need to be feeding their minds any ideas of racism. The world will do a good enough job of corrupting the ambiguous topic inevitably, no need giving them ammo for the playground.

2. The WWE could drop this angle for no reason at any time without any payoff just 'because,' which would give the impression that Kofi's weak and that the Miz was right and maybe even that the McMahon's ARE racist. That's not good PR, especially when Ms. Mac is in politics.

3. It doesn't help develop Kofi as a character. Ironically, the biggest drawback to this idea is that it would pigeonhole Kofi as the roster's token black guy. Kofi can be more than that. Kofi has a personality outside of his grinning rastafarian routine. We've seen it before, and hopefully we'll see him evolve past being a two dimensional stereotype instead of making a lateral move to yet another two dimensional stereotype.

No. I mean that's not the kind of character Miz has so it wouldn't work.

For example if this same storyline featured Kofi and Heath Slater this would have been a marvelous idea...Miz though. it just wouldn't happen

Are you crazy?! Do you want people to kill the Miz? There are some crazy extremist out there that would kill the poor man for no reason.
