Watching three Attitude Era matches on YouTube doesn't mean you actually know anything about it. This question supports my claim.

Yes Daniel Bryan is a great wrestler.

GREAT technical skills.

GREAT mic skills.

But you cannot say he is better than the top attitude era wrestlers yet.

Maybe in the future if he always does what wwe ask him to do and be great as he can he will have a great career and be a hall of famer.

But the top attitude era wrestlers all proved themselves and won loads of titles and influenced the wwe.

Daniel Bryan career is good so far but lets hope he keeps it up.

I would say that Daniel Bryan is absolutely among the best of the Attitude Era, but do I think he's THE best? No. I don't think that Bryan is the best of this current era either.

Bryan is highly decorated, a champion, and a ridiculously entertaining performer, but if a tournament was held featuring Bryan against names like The Rock, Steve Austin, The Undertaker, Triple H, Brock Lesnar, John Cena, CM Punk and Randy Orton, I don't think he'd too well. I mean, he just lost straight up to The Big Show.

Don't get me wrong though, I think Bryan is awesome. I don't think he's one of the best ever though. In today's WWE, I'd probably rank him top-five though. Cena, Punk and Sheamus are clearly ahead of him, but I think he stays with everyone else.

I agree, I even think the fans overrated the attitude era by talking how great it was, the attitude era was an era based on mature storyline, promo and trash talking, inspired by the ECW but wasn't about great wrestling skills. Bryan Danielson is a new generation wrestler with the Indie and strong style, a pretty gifted technical wrestler even better than the wrestlers from the past but I do think Chris Benoit was as good as Bryan Danielson if you followed his work in Japan.

He isn't better than his mentor William Regal.....show some respect to the best damn pro wrestler to come to the United States and get over using one of the most dated gimmicks ever. The window licking marks need to stop fantasizing about an era they never seen and pay RESPECT to wrestling gods who want to keep the business alive and prosper in the future.

Sunshine, bow down and let us praise His Lordship Steven Regal.

.....and yes Bryan Danielson is better than your favorite(s)

Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, Kurt Angle and William Regal

Daniel Bryan is a fantastic wrestler the best in the world but he doesn't stack up to the absolute legends of wrestling back then

Because in the Attitude Era there were the likes of Chris Benoit, Kurt Angle, Dean Malenko, Eddie Guerrero, Chris Jericho, etc.

With such talent available during the Attitude Era, your opinion becomes very dubious and subjective at best, and so we don´t have to admit anything.

Daniel Bryan is an excellent wrestler but I don´t think he is any better than the likes of Chris Benoit for example.

By the way the idea that the Attitude Era had a technically inferior roster to that of today is a fallacy. Back then the roster had its fair share of excellent technical wrestlers such as those named above to name a few, it wasn´t just brawlers and hardcore nutjobs as some people like to believe.
