Note: I did not post this to be a jackass or anything of the sort. If you want to see and know, then fine,if you don't,don't click on it. This site also has the last photo thats known of Owen,on the scaffold before his jump. It gives the true explanation of what happened that night, and it wasn't quite what I expected. Like I said,I didn't post this for any other reason than to let you guys see it if you haven't already. If you don't want to look, don't. If you do,then do it. There s no need for this to turn into a flame thread,or any conspiracy theory crap. I left this site with a better understanding of what happened to Owen Hart, and I feel that it would be good to let you all learn and see the same things. As always,R.I.P Owen Hart.

I agree it was a good read and kinda saddening that he hasn't been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame yet.I remember the Raw after and all the emotion the people gave in their interviews.

Vince should feel guilty. A guy didn't want his kids watching him "cheat" on his wife so he gave him a stupid gimmick which led to his eventual death. That was immature of Vince.

If it's true, I found it interesting that after Owen was going to win the IC title he was going to have a gimmick where he called himself "The Game".

I wonder if Triple H took the name because it was just sitting there not being used or he's using it as some kind of tribute to Owen?

It is alot sadder if you saw the episode of biography about Owen. he and his family had just moved into their dream home just before his death.

he was also thinking of quitting soon as well. they mentioned he was sick of how the company had become, and even mention they wanted him involved in a storyline where he gets fondled by Goldust.

Yeah, he was given the blue blazer gimmick after refusing to do an affair storyline with Jarrett and Debra. And yes, he was pondering on quitting to become a high school teacher.

If he was unhappy, why didn't he join his brother in WCW?..contract?

I miss Owen, he was a great performer and wrestler(I think better than Bret)and was underrated in the WWF.

My dad actually forgot to order the ppv that night, that Owen died. I remember being pissed but now that I think of it, I'm glad I didn't see that.

Yeah, a contract technicality as well as a promised push (which would have had him feud Michaels, but shawn got injured at RR, so it was scrapped)

Nobody saw the actual fall on TV as they were playing a promotional package for the Blue Blazer.

For anybody who watched it, remember when the crowd were popping when he was being stretchered out, wonder if they thought it was a stunt.

Are you all really sitting around thinking that Vince should feel guilty about this? Do you think that he would have ever allowed it to happen if he, or anyone else thought it would end the way it did?

Bottom line is this: Owen worked for Vince McMahon. Vince asked him to do an angle, and Owen didnt want to do it. What was Vince supposed to do? Put him in a main event run? No. You dont wanna do the job he wants of you, dont expect to not be buried on TV at least for a little while. It wasnt entirely Vince's fault that Owen was the Blue Blazer...The descent itself had been done countless times in not the WWE but also in WCW...it wasnt a big unknown. It was a tragic, tragic, accident...Everything that led up to that moment when the rope didnt work, was business as usual on the part of Vince McMahon, he had made his decision. Then the accident happened and it was just that...an accident...

Yes, as Vince is partly to blame.

Owen tried to persuade management being lowered from the rafters wasn't essential to his character and he was uncomfortable with it days before the pay-per-view. Vince McMahon/management told him no

I remember hearing about that ^^ shame on Vince, if only Owen would have flat out just refused to do the stunt, he would still be alive today.
