How do Wrestlers prevent injury from the GTS?

Default How do Wrestlers prevent injury from the GTS?

Not many wrestlers get injured from that move. I only recall one Snitsky with a broke nose.































But damn your dropping a guy 6 feet in the air face first onto your thrusting upward knee.































I'd expect more people to get hurt from it

if you look closely at a clear GTS shot, you can see that the face and the knee dont really connect. usually as soon as Punk drops them, they fall to the ground. this is the same as with Stone Cold's Stunner and Chris Jericho's Codebreaker

When the face usually doesn't go within a foot of the knee, no risk of injury.

actually if u look closely, the GTS consists of throwing your opponent and they land on their feet, centimeters away from Punk's knee, so their face never gets hurt and sometimes it's done on the chest, Snitsky's accident is a botch.
