Can i get rid of Laurinaitis with medicine or do I have to wait for it to run it's course?

Well, 'itis' is the root word for 'inflammation.' Inflammation of the flesh would be caused by bacteria. I'd say he is a bacterial infection. You should get some anti-biotics for that nasty cesspool.
