What if JBL was the new manager of Arsenal? Would he do a good job of it?

I seriously doubt JBL knows anything about soccer (or as you call it over the pond, football). However, you're forcing me to reference this:

1: Did you see that ludicrous display last night?

2: Yeah, what was Wenger thinking sendin' Walcott on so early?

1: Thing about Arsenal is they always try an' walk it in.

John Bradshaw Layfield played American Football at The High School, College and NFL Levels. I don't think he has any interest in Football except as an investment. I don't think he has ever even Coached a kids Soccer Team, so I don't think he would be ready to Coach a Team In The English Premier League.
