Why doesn't WWE Grant some Wrestlers their release when they ask for it!?

How come they don't just give a wrestler their release. How come most of them have to fight to get a release like Matt Hardy say he did!? i don't mean literally fight. If you are smart enough, then you'll understand what i mean.

Because they signed contracts and must uphold them. Does breach of contract ring a bell?

I don't sh*t about wwe and really couldnt care for it. But I know in MMA that if you sign a yearly contract, you have to wait for it to expire. But in MMA usually they have fight contracts so you HAVE to fight 4 people (or how many you agreed to) and then you can be realsed.

To make a long story short the WWE would rather fire them than have them leave on their own power.

Because they sign a contract that has a specific length of time, only then can they leave. It's happened with Matt Hardy as you say, David Hart Smith, Chris Jericho, Shad Gaspard and even Gail Kim.
