It sucked. Sooner or later, TNA will go out of business too.

It's a very complex question with a myriad of theories but I would say, more than anything, a lot of bad business decisions and rarely pushed the younger talent. Once people got tired of Hogan, Savage, Luger, Piper, etc., there was nothing left.

It was bought out by WWF/WWE after it went bankrupt.

WCW went out of business because the owners or finanical backers could no longer afford to compete with WWF for Talent.

WCW was a merger of the old NWA and the UWF and several smaller Regional wrestling Federations. WCW matches were televised on TBE as TNT( remember Monday Night Nitro). WCW went under because the owner one Ted Turner cut off the money and they were forced to fend for themselves and because WCW had no Markerting arm to promote their Wrestlers they Went Under. ECW was doomed from the Start try to compete against both WCW and the WWF for wrestlers and unable to locate TV Coverage as at the Time Spike did not exist, yet as they were known as the Nashville Network then and

WCW wresting was King in Nashville. And the SiFI channel did not exist yet. and Ted had TBS (Turner Broadcasting ) and TNT(Turner Network Television) and WWF had a lock on USA. tha left only local Independent stations to air ECW matches as LATE night fillers on weekends .
