Do you think Hulk Hogan's Micro Championship Wrestling will be a bigger success than TNA?

It's on TruTv and do you think it'll be a bigger success than TNA?

Didn't watch it, couldn't miss Vampires vs. Zombies on The Deadliest Warrior. Pretty cool episode it was too.

If it beats TNA in the ratings TNA should just close and save us of our misery

No, for three reasons.

1. It's midgets. U.S. wrestling fans don't take midgets seriously.

2. How many people actually get TruTV (DirecTV has it, but how many people actually know about it?)? I hadn't even heard of this show until I saw a question about it here.

3. Hogan has the reputation of being poison; seemingly everything he's involved in gets sick and dies. Some people won't watch it just because Hogan is involved.

Half-pint Brawlers was an interesting and entertaining show. It lasted, what, 8 shows? Hard-core midgets using weapons and bleeding all over the place. Sounded like it should have been a hit among wrestling fans looking for something different. It wasn't.

Vince McMahon has trained U. S. wrestling fans to view all midget wrestlers as nothing more than silly comedy to laugh at for a few minutes then move on. And this goes all the way back to the days of King Kong Bundy's feud with that midget army in the mid 80's. U.S. wrestling fans view midget wrestlers as clowns.

Now, if Hogan brought some of the MCW midgets into TNA and presented them as serious wrestlers they could prove to be very popular, but they can't sustain a whole show...not in the U.S.

I don't have that all midgets are clowns mentality, nor do I see all midget wrestlers as just comedy-relief. I'll give the MCW show a fair chance by watching a few episodes, but the vast majority of wrestling (and WWE) fans won't even bother, just like with Half-pint Brawlers.
