Stone Cold was in The Expendables and has been in other movies all while appearing only rarely on WWE TV.

No, the reason The Rock is a sell-out is because he left WWE for movies when he was still able to wrestle. Stone Cold can't wrestle because of the injuries. If Stone Cold wrestled anyway he would be running the risk for a life changing injury.

Nope. Stone Cold wrestled until he couldn't anymore. The Rock just left so he could make some crappy movies.

No because Stone Cold retired because of injuries while The Rock retired to pursue a movie career

Not even close. Austin never abandoned the WWE and he never told the world he didn't need wrestling and wrestling fans anymore.

Austin may be retired from the ring but he's always been involved with the WWE in some way or another. As a retired legend Stone Cold makes more appearances on WWE TV than any of the rest of them. Austin never forgot where he came from, or what (and who) made him a superstar.

every1 here is a hypocrite, in short yes stone cold is as much of a sell out, it doesn't matter if he could or couldn't wrestle, he should've just stayed as an on screen character... there was nothing stopping him from doing that was there?

hell even cena is a minor sell out, he took time off to do movies when he could've wrestled... the exact same thing that every1 b*tches and moans about the rock doing... the difference, rock got over in hollywood, cena didn't, rock wanted to be an actor, and he went for it... calling him a sell out is just a lame excuse for saying don't go after what you want... do you really want the kiddies to think that way...

Kid: i wanna do this

Wrestling fan: if you do you'll be a sell out and every1 will hate you

Kid: ... what?! (cry)

both superstar are not considered as 'sell out'. The Rock has nothing to prove and has accomplished everything. He can earn more money without risking his life.

Stone Cold reached the end of his career because of his neck problems and injuries, Rock just left.

I don't consider either a sell out, but they are not the same thing at all.
