Well, SMackdown aired a day early as always here in Canada, and with it came the debut of......

This guy.

well, it was certainly a sight to see, i'll tell you that. the boogeyman no longer wears the horns. But replaced is a cape, and a plastic heart. as for face paint, the black eye paint is there, but added all over his face is red paint, with black dots. he also had a large clock, to demonstrate in his promo.

which was as follows:

"One, Two........... Boogeyman's looking for you.
Three, Four.......... Better Lock your Door.
(Laughs evily and holds up clock)
Tick, tock. tick, Tock.
from the shadows to which i may appear,
Tick, tock. Tick Tock.
From the sound of the clock as the time draws near.
Be Very afraid, because you are about to face your deepest FEAR!!
(Smashes Clock over head and laughs.)
Nine, Ten.......... Never Sleep again.
(Laughs)
I'm the Boogeyman, and i'm coming to get ya!"

Yeah, that's the actual thing. it looks like this gimmick is actually that he's a psycho who think's he's the boogeyman.

Unless the WWE's scope is just to get a laugh from their fans, why would they think that this gimmick has a chance at getting over?
