Default *news and notes* Kane's Absence, Stacy Keibler, Heat Cancelled, more

Gerweck:

- Kane will be out until around October following knee surgery.

Dave Meltzer is reporting that Sunday Night Heat will be cancelled, along with Velocity, after the WWE moves back to the USA Network on 10/3. The thinking behind this move is that USA doesn't want to advertise any talent on SmackDown, which at the present time, is being broadcast on rival television network UPN. Heat would be replaced by the new Saturday morning recap show that USA announced last week, and with WWE losing both B-shows now, it's expected that many of the Heat and Velocity regulars will be released from their contracts in the coming weeks and months.

- imdb.com has info on "Big Mommas House 2" which is now
filming, and Stacy Keibler is listed in the cast as a Victorica Secret Sales Clerk, she has always been casted in this movie since back in mid-2000, "Big Mommas House 2" will be out
in theaters 2006!

- All this month at Toys 'R Us in Times Square in New York City, fans will have an opportunity to purchase wrestling merchandise never before available in the toy store.
"The WWE Experience" is a 1000 square foot area located on the second floor of the megastore which will have merchandise from both WWE brands. The area is covered with photos of WWE Superstars, WWE Hall of Fame inductees and shots of audiences taken from the ring as well as various fan signs as decoration. There is even an 8x8 ring set up for photo ops. WWE.com is promoting that WWE World Champion Batista and WWE Intercontinental Champion Carlito will be making appearances at the store on 9/8 (Batista) and 9/28 (Carlito). Both will appear from 4-6PM local time on those dates.

- The WWE has updated their online match Jukebox service for the month of September, and I must say that there are a few interesting choices available to select. Such as: Shawn Michaels vs. Kurt Angle in their classic from Wrestlemania 21. Former WWE superstar Waylon Mercy vs. a young Jeff Hardy. The Reunion of the Four Horsemen from 1998. Arn Anderson's Retirement Speech from September of 1997. Andre the Giant vs. Gorilla Monsoon. To check out these matches and several more, go to http://www.wwe.com/subscriptions/jukebox/september/

Jesus H. Christ on a pogo stick! All those Super Stars fired?! There are a lot of good talent. So, it's basically the whole Crusierweight Division and a few Heavyweights? Oh, joy. TNA gets another boost.
