Isn't it sad that TNA sold 800 tickets for Last Night's taping?

Despite estimated poor attendance figures before the show (one estimate said that about 800 tickets were sold), estimates for the actual taping ranged from 3,000-3,500. The arena held up to at least 10,000. No word yet how many tickets were actually sold and how many were given for free/discounted prices in order to fill the arena

I find it more sad that they had to give the majority of the tickets away to fill the arena it just tells you how bad TNA really is very crappy wrestling with a very small fan base I wouldn't go to a TNA event even if I was given tickets that is just torture.

They don't do a good job of advertising. It's sad that it was only 800 tickets sold.TNA needs a desperate change before it's too late.

The wwe has had to cancel a few shows for Smackdown, because ticket sales were so bad. One show was cancelled for next week because only 200 - 300 tickets had been sold. They have cancelled several Smackdown shows lately because of that.

WWE house shows have not been going that good either. Raw shows are doing better than Smackdown shows.

Plus estimates always vary a ton. I have seen that estimate also. I also seen another estimate that said 1,200 were sold and I seen another that said they sold 2,500. None of the people giving estimates on that, know for sure.

Wrestling business as a whole is losing.. ticket sales to all companies are constantly dropping, profits are droppings, and I really think given another 4 or 5 years at this pace and we are going to see Sports Entertainment falling out of the mainstream completely.

Sports Entertainment needs a new direction to boost interest in its product.. wether they can figure out what direction that is has yet to be seen however.
