Default SPOILERS.....SD Taping Results...

f you liked Judgment Day, you will probably like the Great American Bash because from the looks of this week's taping, there will be a lot of rematches on that show. Sorry the report is so short but I hit Mandalay Bay after the show and am running late for work.

The show opened with Eddie Guerrero coming out to the ring and challenging Bradshaw to a rematch given how their match ended at the PPV. Before Bradshaw could say yes, Kurt Angle explained that he made the matches on the show and said that Guerrero, Rob Van Dam and Rey Mysterio would take on Bradshaw and the Dudley Boys tonight.

Rico and Charlie Haas beat the FBI (Stamboli and Nunzio). The champs were pretty over.

Billy Kidman and Akio were in the midst of a match when Mordecai came to the ring and beat both of them up.

Chavo Classic beat Spike Dudley and his son to become the new Cruiserweight champion.

Booker T did a promo where he said he wanted a rematch with The Undertaker. He then beat Funaki in his match.

Rene Dupree beat John Cena by count out to further their feud.

Before the main event, Bradshaw attacked Eddie Guerrero in the back.

Bradshaw and The Dudley Boys beat Eddie Guerrero RVD and Rey as the heels had a 3-on-2 advantage for most of the match since Eddie was selling his beating. Eddie came out at the end and got a huge pop. There was a good crowd at the show and they were into this match, which was good. Anyway, Eddie tried to make the save and did for a while, but then passed out from the beating and Bradshaw covered him for the win.

wow, Chavo Classic as cruiserweight champ. Can the WWE be any more stupid? i mean, it'll prolly be funny to see, but it's still a total waste of time for a belt that deserves more. and i'm guessing that Mordecai has officially become SD's Kane by being the Man who squashes everyone.

Here's some more Detailed info from PWinsider.com:

Velocity results were:
Scotty 2 Hotty over Carly Colon
Mark Jindrak over Paul London
Billy Gunn/Hardcore Holly over The Basham Brothers
Jamie Noble over Shannon Moore by submission

There really wasn't a Billy Kidman/Akio match, as soon as the Bell rang, Mordecai's music and pyro hit and he absolutely destroyed the both of them, giving Akio a Razor's Edge type move to finish off the beating.

Before the Chavo/Chavo Classic/Spike match, the Chavo's did a promo that ended with Chavo saying he didn't need his father's help and after Chavo left, Classic stood there and grinned. The finish of that match saw Spike give the Acid Drop to Classic and he fell on top of Chavo Jr. The ref counted three before Classic realized what had transpired.

The Dupree/Cena match was quite a sleeper. Lots of rest holds during the match with Dupree working on Cena's shoulder throughout the match. They moved to the outside where I think Cena got low blowed and got counted out. Regardless he was over HUGE.

The Main Event was great. It is so wonderful to see Bubba as a heel again, because he is great in that roll. The Dudleys had 3D'd RVD on the outside, leaving Rey 1 on 3, and Bubba went to the faces corner acting like he was trying to help Rey by letting him tag him in, all while saying some great lines to Rey about being small and Mexican. Anyway, Eddie came down about 3/4 the way in and cleaned house, but due to the attack earlier by Bradshaw passed out. Brain Hebner quickly counted the three and Eddie was stretchered out of the arena.

Afterwards, Bradshaw came back and berated Las Vegas until the Undertaker came out to an enormous pop. Undertaker sent the crowd home happy by giving JBL the chokeslam and tombstone. About 5 minutes later JBL lay in the ring and told everyone he was OK and to watch him on CNBC..lol.
______
Now that iread about the Chavo Classic situation, i find that Hillarious, but still a waste of time for the cruiserweight division.

more news from nodq.com:

As you may have noticed, Eddie Guerrero had very limited time in the ring on Smackdown. The reason behind this is that he wasn't 100% after all the blood loss on Sunday. As of now, he is most likely going to be working in-ring on this weekend’s Smackdown house shows.
