Something that was pretty shocking to me was Curt Henning beat Ric Flair in a loser leaves WWF match.....I just didn't think Flair was gonna lose the match do to his cheating ways, but Hennig delevered, in one of the only times I routed against Ric Flair in a wrestling match aside from any Flair/Savage match.....

Jake Roberts' snake biting Randy Savage's arm in the ring during SNME. I read that it was a real bite and Savage had to get some stitches to close it up.

well, I wasn't privy to the net and backstage stuff at the time......Hogan's heel turn was quite shocking at the time......

and, the first time Vader beat Sting for the world title.....it was just a shockingly quick finish.....

i would say the wee ring breaking when big show and lesner were wrestling. and when eric bishoff showed up on raw. and when kane unmasked himself. those were really shocking.

possibly i was mmost shocked when Shawn Michaels returned to the WWE as part of the NWO. i hadn't really expected to come back to TV in any way, shape, or form.

just kinda look, if the thread date of the last post in thread is over 2 months don't use it...just make a new thread about the topic you want..usually if it's on the front page, it's okay to post in it

To get back on subject, the shocking moments that left an impression on me were the Barbershop in which Shawn Micheals threw Marty Janetty through the window, when Taker lost the casket match to Yokozuna and what happened afterwards, and Mongo becoming a Four Horseman (not as much shocking as it a WTF?)

The most shocking moment in wrestling to me wasn't a WWE/F moment of NWA/WCW moment. The most shocking moment for me was the match between Carlos Colon and Abdullah The Butcher had in the 80's. The match was by far one of the most gruesome moments in wrestling. Abdulah was a feaking bloody mess, the ring was literaly red and it looked like a crime scene and Carlos Colon was sent to the hospital in critical condition. I was simply shocked since real paramedics were sent instead of copycats.
