Default Where do the Indy's go?.....

so much Indy talent has seemingly gone by the wayside.....is it because they just aren't good enough to make it with the bigger wrestlers in the WWE, not talented enough.....

or do they put so much out in the smaller places with fewer medical attendees, less padding.....whatever.....

why don't we see more guys that are big in the Indy's make it to places like the WWE and New Japan?.....

Because it is a known fact that the WWE doesn't promote wrestling. So guys in the Indy's would have to put wrestling on the back burner in order to jobb and be put in useless skits. For the most part the better indy wrestlers do go to places like Japan, with Zero-One, World One, some to NJPW and AJPW. But if you like a particular wrestler in the indy's, your best bet is to want him to stay in the indy's or head to Japan. Mainly because you won't be able to watch the indy wrestler preform in WWE like he was able to preform in those other promotions. Take Paul London, he has toned down his move-set by about 50%, and he doesn't even get glory when he does wrestle. In the indy's you notice just how talented he really is. But in WWE you very rearly see him on SD, because SD though host the CW division doesn't put a whole lot of time or effort into the division. So naturally any wrestler who wants to follow a passion for the business isn't gonna wanna be used as a jobber and not flourish as a wrestler.

Guys like Chris Daniels should never go to the WWE, mainly because they aren't that type of wrestler. WWE limits the amount of stuff you can do inside of the ring, and often doesn't exactly reward smaller guys who don't stand taller then 6'5.......

It really does seem like a lose lose situation

Stay in the Indies: Get to be your own wrestler, but are only playing 100-150 places for little money
Go to the WWF: Get watered down big time, be accused of being a sell-out by Indy fans, and are pretty much on Vince's Job Squad

Japan does seem to be the better place for the indy guys.
