Obviously^^

The list for the most part was pretty predictable.......I knew before I even watched the show what the main picks would be. WWE loves to hang on Michaels/Ramon, Hart/Michaels, Steamboat/Savage and Rock/Hogan. Not that these matches aren't deserving.......but anytime WWE organizes a "Wrestlemania Best Of" list, any idiot would be able to predict these matches.

I, however, am somewhat confused as to why they picked the WM 1 main event, which sucked dick back then and still sucks dick. And Warrior/Hogan was an incredibly cheesy match. Both men kept trying to demonstrate throughout the match who had more "superhuman powers". It wasn't a match, it was a goddamn cartoon. The match was heinous like a fat man's anus.

Instead, I'm wondering why they didn't put Austin/Rock WM17, and Michaels/Jericho WM 19 on the list. Both of those were much more rightful than picks 9 and 7.

True Marbles, I Felt The Retirement Match From Wrestlemania VII Between Savage And Warrior Deserved A Spot, Where Unlike Mania' VI, Warrior Looke Half Convincing In The Ring With Savage...

I Thought Vince/Hogan From Mania' XIX Might Have Gotten A Spot, Although They Showed Andre/Hogan, Savage/Flair, Those Matches Should Have In Some Sense Or Another Been On The List

I Felt One Of The More Underrated Matches Is Between Bret And Owen At Mania' X, But I'ma Owen And Bret Mark So...Benoit Vs. Angle Seemed Like It Was Just Thrown On At The Last Minute, The Triangle Ladder Match Was Positioned Way Too High. It Was A Spot Fest, But With Ladders And Chairs...

Yeah, I loved Vince/Hogan, especially there in the live crowd. If you were close to the ring that night, that match was by far the most fun to watch.

Owen/Bret is also one of my all-time favorites. Great back-and-forth technical masterpiece, awesome shit from both of them, and the ending of the match was booked brilliantly. The look of surprise on Owen's face and the look of dissapointment on Bret's make for a perfect match ending I'll always remember.....just perfect.

And BTW, did they put Austin/Michaels on the list? lmao.........the match where Michaels was hunching over, ooing and aahing his way around the ring for 15 minutes, barely able to do anything at all because of a busted up back?

They put THAT on the list instead of Bret and Owen? PLEASE.......

i Agree with the Card, Though IMO, Move The Triange Ladder match and The IC Title Ladder Match around, but besides that, it's an understandably solid lineup.

I agree with the list but in my opinion move the Austin/Hart match from 6 down to 5 or 4, that match made Austin over with the fans. Everything else is fine in my opinion

While this was a good match, I thought they added it solely for the purpose of having a Benoit match in the show......Flair even made mention of the fact that it showed once again that Benoit couldn't win the big one.....shouldn't have been on the list, imo.....

Quote:
9. Ultimate Warrior Vs. Hulk Hogan (Wrestlemania VI)
You knew that Warrior was going to make an appearance, and it would only be one.....this was a part of the cartoonish era of WWF, and at the time it was the fan's ultimate nightmare of who to cheer for.....thus, I can see why it made the list.....remember, this list was about Entertainment and Wrestling, not solely wrestling.....
Quote:
8. Shawn Michaels Vs. Steve Austin (Wrestlemania XIV)
even HBK says this was not a great match, so it was added purely for entertainment value as well based upon the beginning of Stone Cold's championship reign.....the beginning of SC's reign deserves a spot in the annals of WWF history, so I can see this one although I would have left it off the list.....(gasp! I took an HBK match off the list)
Quote:
7. Hogan/Mr.T Vs. Orndorf/Piper (Wrestlemania)
the only reason this was on here is because it was from WMI as the main event.....it should have been #10, but it deserved to make the list solely upon that main event in the first ever WM fact.....
Quote:
6. Steve Austin Vs. Bret Hart (Wrestlemania XIII)
This one should have been at #2......
Quote:
5. Hulk Hogan Vs. The Rock (Wrestlemania XVIII)
right where it belonged, this match made it because of Icon vs. Icon.....and rightfully so.....
Quote:
4. Steamboat Vs. Savage (Wrestlemania III)
should have been #3
Quote:
3. Razor Ramon Vs. Shawn Michaels (Wrestlemania X)
#9 at best, this probably didn't belong on the list.....and Hart/HBK was the first ladder match, but not at a WM.....
Quote:
2. TLC Match (Wrestlemania XVI)
should have been #4.....sure it was a spot fest, but this match was one of the most appreciated matches by the casual fan of all time.....the ovation the teams got said it all.....
Quote:
1.Shawn Michaels Vs. Bret Hart (Wrestlemania XII)
I've said it on many occasions that this was the best iron man match I have ever seen, and it still is.....and it always will be.....two great competitors in their respective primes, and one of the most priceless pure emotional moments when it ended......

there have been matches that were better because they were shorter in length maybe, but this match, the buildup to get there, the unbelievable continuity in the ring.....it was a great match, on the biggest stage the WWF had to offer, between its two biggest stars at the time.....it should have been #1 and it was.....

I would have taken out the Razor/HBK ladder match and the Angle/Benoit match.....

I would replace Razor/HBK with Jericho/HBK.....

and Angle/Benoit with Savage/Hogan.....

all in all, it may look like they are propping up HBK.....but it'd be hard to argue against him.....once again showing that the greatest performer they have ever had is HBK.....

Lesnar/Angle from WM19 should have been 10 instead of Angle/Benoit.

Where the hell was Austin/Rock??? The 2 biggest names of the Attitude era in the biggest match of either of thier careers, and it didn't make it?? Fuck that. That should have been on there instead od Warrior/Hogan in that sense anyway.
