Does anyone think that the Monday Night Wars are what made WWE so great in the late 90s?

Definitely. The Monday Night Wars is what made the WWF/E enter the Attitude Era, making their product become edgier. You had some of the most uniquest characters, gimmicks, feuds and storylines going on that had you entertained. The Monday Night War was the best era to be a wrestling fan in terms of enjoying three products (WWF, WCW, ECW) going head to head. You had many interesting and entertaining shows stepping up and putting on their best performance. You don't really see that happening nowadays though.

BQ: Hopefully so, with Triple H taking over the company soon. I feel that since he knows from a wrestlers perspective that he can actually know how to shape up the WWE to be fantastic programming as it once was years ago.
