I don't remember them legitimately breaking up. That's why I was confused when I found out that they were facing each other last night on SmackDown! I haven't missed any of WWE's televised shows. Am I just forgetting something?

On the July 15th Edition of SmackDown, he started a rivalry with his former tag team partner Justin Gabriel when Slater verbally berated him saying that Gabriel was holding him down. That same night Gabriel defeated Slater in a match thus turning him into a fan favorite in the process.

They never legitimately broke up, until last night on SmackDown, when Heath Slater cut that promo just before their match. It was kinda bad, since WWE didn't really put much effort or attention on it, and only dedicated a two minute promo onto it.

I actually didn't want them to break up because they were one of the few legitimate tag teams left in the WWE.
