Depending on when The Undertaker left The World Wrestling Federation and signed a New Contract with World Championship Wrestling, a lot of storylines in the WW would never have taken place. We could even point to the fact that Mark Calaway aka Mean Mark Callous worked for World Championship Wrestling before he came to and sign a contract with The World Wrestling Federation. If Mark Callaway never comes to The World Wrestling Federation, then The Undertaker never exists as a Character. On the other hand, if Mark Callaway had gone to The World Wrestling Federation and became The Undertaker and if his contract had expired early in 1996, like those of Soctt Hall and Kevin Nash, then it should be pretty obvious, who would have been the 3rd Man to join The Outsiders at WCW Bash At The Beach in 1996, it would have been Mark Calaway. Hulk Hogan might have then joined what would become known as The New World Order as the 4th Member.

In the meantime, we would not have had The storylines with Kane, Mankind, Shawn Michaels, Sycho Syd, Stone Cold Steve Austin and other storylines that took place in the WWF from 1996-.

The then WWF still had the redhot Stone Cold Steve Austin and budding stars such as The Rock and Triple H trickled in with new stars . The WWF(E) would have taken a huge hit, but at that time Taker was over weight and in the Ministry. Vince would have pulled something out of his sleeve just like he did when other stars jumped ship. Taker was not as nastolgic at that point in time and was playing a heel, not the ultra babyface he plays now. So who knows really? They probably would have wasted him in WCW just like Bret Hart.

Why would he have done that, though? The nWo was started by 4 guys (Nash, Hall, Waltman and Hogan) who had all burned their bridges with Vince McMahon and basically weren't welcome in the WWF anymore. Undertaker was on great terms with Vince and always has been. The money was better in the WWF, and jumping ship would have hurt his image.

It would have hurt the WWF, but it wouldn't have destroyed it. They were still in the heights of the Hart/Michaels feud, and Austin was coming on strong and very close to becoming Stone Cold. Taker being gone just would have meant a stronger push for guys like Sid, Vader and Mankind.

A lot of great stories and matches would never have occurred. No Corporate Ministry, no Hell in a Cell match with Mankind. etc.

Meanwhile, WCW would have misused him terribly, and they probably would have ruined his career, or at least stalled it. He wouldn't have been The Undertaker any more, so that might have ruined that character for him.
