Why do people continually whinge about the PG era, and yet still watch the WWE week in and week out?

It's very annoying. Being a 90's kid myself, I do remember all the excitement the Attitude era brought to our television sets. Yes, I agree it was much more entertaining with the likes of D-Generation X, the 3:16 stint and The Rock in his hey day. What you people don't realize is that many wrestlers would find it hard to cope if WWE were to bring back the Attitude era, so many injuries, fatigue, anxiety etc, there's only so much punishment the human body can withstand. It would send their top wrestlers to the injury list, which means a loss in the ratings. VKM knows there is absolutely no company that will destroy his family's creation.

Another thing, do you realize the Attitude era didn't really have the ultimate poster boy who stood out on his OWN and wore merchandise which shot through the roof in sales? This is why we see Cena wearing his lame colorful t-shirts. Children = profit, the end.

Answerers, I will be glad to read your inputs!

I just usually go to sleep in front of the tv. Let's face it the pg era is sad. At least during the Attitude era I was awake and watching. Now it's geared specifically towards kids.

What ppl fail to realize is that PG was WWF since it begin. Alot of kids came to see Hogan, Warrior, Randy, Earthquake, the Rockers. All that was PG on Saturday Main Event. Even in 97, 98, mid 99 it was PG. SmackDown was PG from the beginning. I still have tapes of every SmackDown show. Ppl dont realized its the wrestlers and writers. U dont have the same guys no more. TV14 was from mid 99-2008. Thats where u can tell the real fans from the fakes. Because real fans know PG been was in before WWE went ATTITUDE like. Vince felt like it got too far with the TV14 things they did. I just think that the wrestlers and writers could do better. I dont mind the PG thing.

Its hard to break a habit like watching wwe if your a real fan and in the back of my mind at least i tune in hopeing to see a better show each week but unfortunately it has got worse and worse each week and year since around 2004

.For the record I cant remember a wrestler in any company as annoying as John Cena...he's just so unlikeable and the more he tries to be funny the worse he sounds and his promos have been terrible since he got rid of the thuganomics gimmick.
