I think Orton is a good heel but a bad face.

I think Punk is better as a heel than a face.

I think HHH is better as a heel than face.

I think Cena would be better as a heel now than a face

I think The Rock is better as a face than a heel.

Big Show is a bad face, but a good heel

John Cena is a good heel and face

Randy Orton is a good Heel but a bad face

Tripple H is a good heel and face because either heel or face, he is unforgiving in the ring

Good faces but not good heels: Big Show. When he was feuding with the Undertaker and teamed up with Jericho, I just never thought he was that good. I don't like Show that much, but he's definitely someone that little kids look up to. He's always walking out to the ring with a smile on his face giving little kids a high five. He makes a much better face IMO.

Good heels but not good faces: Not that they were terrible faces, but I've always thought that ever since Cm Punk became a heel, he's really elevated his game. He seems to be a lot more credible now and although he has a lot of fans, he can draw a good amount of heat from little kids (which makes up a good amount of the WWE Universe.

Another guy, Batista. He was a good face, but once he turned on Rey, I thought he became GREAT. I loved the all about me gimmick and everytime he came into the ring he always had the one spotlight on him. I thought he was the best heel when he was with WWE.

Kane is another guy who comes to mind. I don't know if he's ever a full face, but he's obviously better when he's the big red monster, which hasn't been in a while.

Randy Orton. He's way over with the fans, but as a face I think he's limited. He had one of the best heel runs in recent memory with Legacy, and as a face he's held the title like once. I loved the Age of Orton.

Last but not least, John Morrsion. He's so dull as a face. Yeah he's over with the fans and what not, but I thought he was really good as a heel. He had the swagger and arrogance that makes a great heel. I think if he wants to become huge in the WWE and win some titles, he should turn heel. He'd probably be better on the mic as well.

Not that you asked, but two guys who come to mind that are great at both: HBK and Chris Jericho.
